Diomedes is a longlegged, elegant stallion with unusually good ridability and was scored 8,75 during his 30-days test in Germany. During 2010 he won several victories and placements in L-classes. By the competitions in Hagen, Germany, he won the heating class and qualified to the “Bundeschampionat” through the fourth placement. During 2014 he has advanced up to Intermediaire with victories and placements in nearly all his starts together with his rider Lina Andersson. 2015 started up very well with a 3:rd place in the Arctic Equestrian Games in Norway.
Diomedes father, Belissimo M, was Bundeschampion himself and also finalist in the World Equestrian Games for young horses. His grandfather is the famous stallion Flemmingh who also is the father to Krack C (Anky van Grunsven) and Lingh (Edward Gal), both very successful dressage horses at Grand Prix level.
Flemmingh is also the sire to the winning stallion in Oldenburg 2009. Diomedes grandmother is full sister to Briar 899.
Diomedes first foals were born 2010. Among 14 showed foals, 12 were awarded (July 2010) in Knyhhausen, Germany. The top foal, a filly by St.Pr.St. Jeversche Perle, was approved to participate at the Elite Auktion in Vechta, Germany. The foals have exceeded the expectations through their high even qualities.
