When “Lunds Civila Ryttarförening” was holding dressage competitions the last weekend in October, Maria von Essen rode the horse Brighton, who is by Briar – Granit, to victory in the Prix S:t Georges. Bo Bennergård is the owner of Brighton and the breeder is Kerstin Månsson.
Michelle Nilsson rode our Orthrus to a 5:th place in MSV C:1 at “Färs Härad´s” compeititons held between the 18:th and 19:th of October. Through the result they have now qualified to enter MSV B next time. Orthrus was born and grew up here at Dalhem Farms and he is by the Dutch breeding stallion Flemmingh who was ridden and competed by the well-known Edward Gal. Flemmingh´s pedigree contains lots of successful showjumpers such as Ladykiller xx, Landgraf and Cor de la Bryère. In Orthru´s motherline you also find much jumping-blood and several multitalents such as Magini, Krocket, Der Löwe xx and Gaspari.
Kypros by Maistic – Krocket was tree times 2:nd placed at “Umeå Ryttarförening´s” competitions during the weekend of the 18-19 of October. They came on 2:nd place in MSV C:2, C:1 and B:2. Breeder to Kypros is Hans-Yngve Göransson, Dalhem and owner is Karin Kemi. The photo is from the Swedish Championships with the previous owner and rider Lina Andersson.
“Åstorpsortens Ryttarförening” held dressage competitions the other week in October where our own Aretos came on 3:rd place in the MSV A:1 together with Lina Andersson. Aretos is by Briar – Nocturne. Lina Andersson also rode Dalhems Diomedes and they placed number 5 in the Intermediaire I. Dalhems Diomedes is by Belissimo M – Flemmingh and you can read more about him under his own page under the headline “Stallions”. In the Prix S:t Georges the Briar-horse Brighton came on 3:rd place, ridden by Maria von Essen. Brighton´s grandfather is Granit and the breeder is Kerstin Månsson, owner is Bo Bennergård.
Our own bred Orthrus is by Flemmingh – Magini. Briar´s full sister is the mother of Orthrus. Together with Michelle Nilsson they took a nice 2:nd place in the MSV C:2 at the competitions at “Sydslätten” during the second weekend of October. Michelle and Orthrus have been a team for only one and a half month and this was their first start. Flemmingh was ridden and competed by Edward Gal.
