At Loxahatchee in Florida, Cesar Parra won Prix St. George with “Agastrofos” with almost 70%. Agastrofos is an approved stallion for breeding in both Oldenburg, Germany, and the USA. He was born and bread hear by us at Dalhem Farms and was sold to the USA as a 4-year-old.
Grand Prix Saumur Frankrike – Dalhem Farms
At the competitions in Saumur in France in end of April and beginning of May, Bukowski and his Danish rider Anders Dahl was no 1 in Grand Prix. Bukowski was born in Sweden and he is by Briar and thoroughbread on the motherside (Junius XX). Breeder is Erik Magnusson.
Mac Brian and Amy Stovold also participated in these competitions and was 9:th placed in one GP and 4:th in another GP taking place Saturday.
Competitions in Lidköping
Corleone by Briar – Bernstein won Intermediaire I with his breeder and rider Kerstin Ahlgren at the national competitions in Lidköping last weekend. They also took 5:th place in St. George. In the same class Charlotte Esping and Ciwi was 2:nd placed with almost 70%. Ciwi is by Briar – Chirac and bread by Christine Esping.
Emmelie Karlsson was riding Britannia by Briar – May Sherif and was place no 3 in the Intermediaire I. In MSV:A they were on 5:th place. Breeder to Britannia is Kyra Kyrklund.

Briar “stallion of the year 2010”
The Swedish association for breeding, the ASVH, has awarded Briar “The stallion of the year”. One of the main criteria is that the offsprings are to show good results internationally. As to the World Breeding Federation, Briar was ranked number 17 last year as breeding dressage stallion. Regarding the total number of offsprings, Briar is placed number 3 in the world (Sporthorse Breeding, the Netherlands).
