Inspection Tour Illinois, USA

Last Wednesday there was Inspection at Little Bit Farm, Illinois. 3-year old stallion Brioso by Briar – Furioso II will awarded be licensed for one year. Brioso is owned by Little Bit Farm and they also own Brilotta. Brilotta is a foal by Briar – Kasparow and got a 9 for her trot, as a total awarded class 1.

 

The yearling Osiris by Okeanos – Troubadour also became a class 1.

Brunetti by Briar 3:rd in the final

In June, Pia-Luise Aufrecht bought the bay mare Brunetti from her breeder Erika Langhans. Brunetti who is by Briar – Riccione was among the most successful 6-year old showjumpers in Germany last year. Together with Pia-Luise they took 3:rd place in the final for young horses in Arnsberg, Germany in September this year.

The Briar-son Brisbane took gold

The Briar-son Brisbane won the weekend´s Grand Prix Special in Odense, Denmark together with his rider Mattias Jansson.

 

Our breedings

At the national competitions in Skabersjö last Saturday, Peter Lykke Svendsen rode our stallion Telamon by Briar – Champion du Lys to 11:th place after clear round in a 1.30-class. It was Telamon´s first 1.30 and so it was for Thootes. Thootes who is by Chicago Z – Champion du Lys got one fence down after a small touch and came just outside placing. So did Eris (by Champion du Lyg – Magini) after one fence down, but she was placed number 4 in the 1.20 among 76 competitors. In this class one of our other horses placed after a clear round, Ilos by Lavirco – Magritte, together with his rider Erika Svensson.

 

In Umeå dressage competitions was held this same weekend. There our own bred Kypros by Maistic – Krocket won 2:nd place in an M-class. He is ridden by Karin Kemi who also owns him.

Agastrofos by Briar Reserve Champion

Agastrofos was Revserve Champion honored at the National Championships for young developing horses in the USA together with his rider Endel Ots. Endel Ots has only done three competitions with Agastrofos so far and as he says “He loves the piaff and passage, the collected work is just so easy for him.” Agastrofos is 10 years old and was bred by us at Dalhem Farms and was sold to Taunia and David Reed as a five year old.
